Purified Water
Sodium Olivate is derived from the salt of olive oil and has mild exfoliation properties and is rich in vitamins, minerals and anti-oxidants. It has a creamy rich lather but rinses off easily and leaves behind no greasy residue. Olives are a great source of fatty acids during pregnancy and fatty acids are needed for fetal brain development.
Vegetable Glycerin is a non-toxic colorless and odorless liquid produced from vegetables. It has emollient and lubricating properties and helps to cleanse and moisturize the skin. Glycerin has antimicrobial effects, helps to heal wounds and also helps to restore skins elasticity. Glycerin based cleansers are highly recommended during pregnancy.
2% Lactic Acid is an alpha hydroxy acid which is derived naturally from fruits and milk and is extremely effective for helping with photo-aging and sun damaged skin. It is an excellent exfoliant, stimulates collagen production and because of its antibacterial properties it is widely used for improving acne prone skin. It has long been approved for the use during pregnancy.
Rosa Rubiginosa (Rose Hip) Oil is high in vitamin C as well as other components that help with skin regeneration and elasticity. There have been studies conducted where daily applications of rose hip oil were linked to wrinkle reduction and the fading of sun damaged skin. It has also been known to lighten hyperpigmentation. Rose Hip has for a long time been used in pregnancy products.
Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract plant extract has been used for centuries to treat burns, skin abrasions and for skin protection and regeneration. It is also excellent for anti-aging and for maintaining younger more youthful looking skin. It is considered safe and acceptable when used topically during pregnancy.
Aspalathus Linearis (Red Tea) Extract is used for a wide variety of skin care ailments such as diaper rash, acne, eczema and aging. Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba Oil) Seed Oil has many skin care benefits. It is helpful at healing sores and wounds. It inhibits bacterial and fungal microbes. It is often used in the treatment of acne due to the fact it blends with the natural sebum of the skin, which curbs overproduction of oil. It actually “tricks” the skin into producing less sebum which can clog pores. It penetrates the skin rapidly and reduces water loss. It can be effective at lightening marks or scars and restoring the skin’s natural pH balance. It is used widely in many pregnancy products today and is not linked to any known health risks.
Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Extract has both strong moisturizing abilities as well as mild astringent effects. It is soothing and helps to relieve puffiness while removing dead skin cells. Cucumbers not only help to revitalize the skin but are also safe and great to eat while pregnant and nursing.
Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil is a good source of B Vitamins and is tolerated by all skin types. It helps to soothe inflamed skin, moisturizes and provides a healthy glow. This oil is a commonly prescribed aromatherapy aid for pregnant women.
Citrus Sinensis (Sweet Orange) Oil replenishes dry and sun damaged skin. It has traditional medicinal uses for coughs, colds and digestive conditions. It is a natural scent in our product.

Ethyl Macadamiate is derived from macadamia seed oil. It is an exceptionally mild skin conditioner with unique penetrating and spreading ability. It is natural alternative to silicone where a botanical, nonvolatile and/or lipid-soluble substance is preferred. Macadamia is excellent oil that protects and heals skin blemishes such as scars, sunburn, minor wounds and other irritations. Because of its high absorption rate it has great moisturizing properties.
Squalane (Olives) is derived from Squalene but is much more stable, both come from olive oil. Squalane moisturizes your skin and is absorbed quickly. Your skin will feel supple, look plumper and wrinkles will be less apparent. Of course just like Olive Oil it is completely safe for pregnant and nursing moms.
Rosa Rubiginosa (Rose Hip) Seed Oil helps to assist the skin with hydration. It improves tone and texture and replenishes moisture. Rose Hip Oil also helps with wrinkles, sun-damage, spots, scars and acne. It is suitable for babies and those with sensitive skin. This oil is safe for pregnant and nursing women.
Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract acts as a natural barrier and shields skin from dangerous toxins. It heals skin by helping to destroy bacteria that try to invade cuts and wounds. It also proves helpful in removing dead skin cells. Aloe moisturizes the skin and helps to provide oxygen to the skin cells which in turn increases the strength and synthesis of skin tissue. Triple blend of Vitamin C (Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate and Ascorbyl Glucoside)
Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate is another form of Vitamin C that is considered stable and gentle. It is absorbed into the skin first then is converted to Ascorbic Acid. Due to this fact it is thought to be good at treating acne because it is not an irritant when applied, like Ascorbic Acid can be. Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate can stimulate collagen and is also a highly effective skin brightener.
Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate is a great skin lightener and brightener. It is also effective for UV protection and repair. It is a potent antioxidant that is non-irritating and is also an anti-inflammatory.
Ascorbyl Glucosideis a new type of stable vitamin C that is not easily oxidized. This form of Vitamin C shares the same physiological activation as L-Ascorbic Acid, but because it is less degradable it has a sustained action on improving skin brightening and discoloration. It will also stimulate collagen production to help prevent aging.

When I got pregnant, my acne came right back with all it’s flare ups and I knew the products I was using before to help clear my skin were not safe while I was pregnant. I struggled trying to find products that were safe and could be effective. When I google searched, I found this website and saw many testimonials about it. Now, I am happy I used it. I’m not even pregnant and I use this skincare line! I have struggled with cystic acne for the last couple years. I used to take spironolactone which cleared me up pretty well, but after I was clear I got off of it. My skin stayed clear for a while, but they started coming back. I really wanted to use something that could work throughout future pregnancies and this felt like a small answered prayer. I noticed a difference after one try using the three-step system! One mistake I made was using other products along with these ones (essential oils, clay mask). *Honest review* I’ve been struggling with acne for more than 4 years now and have tried almost every acne line you can think of. My skin got immediately worse after I became pregnant and knew I needed to find a new product that was safe during my pregnancy. I came across pretty mommies and after reading the reviews I felt more comfortable trying them out. I purchased all three of the products over a month ago and at first, I was not that impressed as it made my face break out even more. But after consistently using it day and night, my face has definitely improved. It is much softer and I don’t have crazy break outs like before. While it hasn’t cleared up all my acne, this product has made it manageable. However my skin does continue to improve. I plan on continuing to use this product throughout the rest of my pregnancy. It is probably one of the best products I’ve purchased for my acne.

I can definitely tell a difference in my skin. I haven’t seen a drastic improvement in my discoloration or tone (have previously struggled with melasma), but skin feels really soft and have not had breakouts since using. I have been dealing with hormonal acne for years just as many of the other ladies have stated! I had it all under control when I was on birth control, but I went off birth control 1 year ago and my skin has broken out like crazy! I have been using this product for about a month now and my breakouts have gone down, but I am still having breakouts around my time of the month. I was having major issues with blemishes, cystic acne and blackheads right at 8 weeks pregnant. I am an esthetician and none of the products we use at my spa were working! I ordered Pretty Mommies 3 step a month ago. I have to search for blackheads now! I still have an occasional blemish but the spf used as a spot treat at night clears em right up. I had a hard time believing that anything that was “safe for pregnancy” would really work but this does! I have struggled with hormonal acne and very oily skin for years. My poor husband has listened to me complain about it for many of those years! I was very embarrassed and self conscious about my face and I felt very uncomfortable talking to people face-to-face thinking they’d only be able to focus on my nasty acne. I came across some reviews about Pretty Mommies as I was searching for a more natural approach to skincare since we are currently trying to get pregnant. I looked at all the reviews and I didn’t see one negative review! I looked into it a little more and it just looked like the answer to all of my problems. I called to ask some questions because I am a cheap person and didn’t want to spend $119 on something that wasn’t going to work. To my surprise, I talked directly with the owner and she is wonderful! She answered all of my questions and really worked with me. I ordered my three step system right after I got off the phone with her. I have been using it for a month now and I still have had a few zits pop up here and there, but I am so happy because my face is no longer greasy and oily like it used to be! My skin is more evenly colored now and my breakouts are much less intense. My skin isn’t perfect, but I had a lot of scarring before I started using this, so I’m just going to use the whole set up and see what happens. As of now though, I am very pleased!

“Excuse this long review, but my battle with acne has been a long road. I have had problems with acne since high school. I have very fair skin so every little pimple would be very red and noticeable. I have been placed on topical and oral antibiotics, tried numerous other systems with harsh chemicals that claim miracles, nothing worked. Then, at 28, I got pregnant with my first child and the problem escalated. It would get so bad, I would be in tears from low self-esteem and with pain/irritation from the pimples.
